Indulge in fudgy brownies layered with fresh strawberries and a velvety chocolate drizzle for a sweet and sophisticated dessert that’s easy to make at home.
1 (18 oz) box brownie mix
2 cups chopped strawberries
1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 tbsp vegetable oil
Prepare the brownie mix according to the box instructions and bake in a 9×13″ greased pan. Let cool completely.
Wash and pat dry the strawberries. Dice into ½” pieces and distribute evenly over cooled brownies. Press gently to adhere.
In a microwave-safe bowl, combine chocolate chips and vegetable oil. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth and glossy.
Transfer melted chocolate to a ziplock bag. Snip one corner and drizzle evenly over the strawberry layer.
Refrigerate for 30 minutes–1 hour to set the chocolate. Cut into 16 squares and serve chilled.
Use dark chocolate (60%+) for a bolder flavor or white chocolate with freeze-dried strawberry powder.
Blanch strawberries in hot water for 10 seconds to retain color and firmness.
Use a certified gluten-free brownie mix and gluten-free chocolate chips for a gluten-free version.
Avoid over-baking the brownies to maintain a fudgy texture.
